Marvel Studios is known for its overall connectivity throughout its all projects. But because of different creators working on these projects, there are bound to be some inconsistencies which often go unnoticed. These are termed as Marvel Plot Holes.
Here’s my top 5 picks of Marvel Plot Holes:
1 – She-Hulk Timeline
She-Hulk takes place around the time of Shang-Chi and The Legend of Ten Rings. You can see in Episode 2 how Wong helps Abomination find his way in the illegal fights. But Shang-Chi post credit scene has Bruce Banner with his damaged arm.
Whereas Banner was able to heal his arm with Jennifer Walter’s blood in Episode 1 and goes off to Sakaar. This is an irritating Marvel Plot Hole.
If we follow the events of Shang-Chi, then She-Hulk’s Episode 2 takes place first which doesn’t make sense. Or, Smart Hulk turned into Banner again, pretended that his arm wasn’t healed and was talking from his spaceship at end of Shang-Chi.
Either way, nothing has been officially confirmed by Marvel.
2 – Pym Particles
As per physics, volume is the amount of space an object takes up and mass is the amount of matter in an object or a person.
In Ant-Man, Hank Pym explains Pym particles by saying that they change the distance between the atoms but not the size or the quantity of atoms. This means that even if the atoms are very near to each other, they weight the same. But Marvel disobeys this explanation since the very beginning.
An ant is now carrying the mass of an average human being on it’s back. Then, Hank Pym himself is carrying an entire building with him as a suitcase. Similarly, in Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang who just weighs his normal self, is able to stop Rhodey as he’s big.
3 – Electro
In Spiderman: No Way Home, when the spell is messed up, everyone who knows that Peter Parker is Spiderman starts to show up. Everyone even Venom who showed up on Earth – 616, knew about Spiderman’s identity. Except Electro.

If you’ve watched Amazing Spiderman 2, there’s not a single point where Electro knows about Spiderman’s true identity. He even confirms this fact when he says that he thought him to be black.
Well, then why did Electro show up? Maybe the creators were too focused on giving fans what they want that they forgot this obvious Marvel Plot hole.
There could be an explanation that Electro just knew about Peter Parker but hadn’t actually seen him. When he was on the Electrical grid, he may have read texts between Gwen and Peter Parker. But again, if this was true, it wasn’t stated anywhere in the movie.
4 – Gamora
When Gamora is introduced in Guardians of the Galaxy, her description says that she’s the last survivor of Zehoberei People.
But in Avnegers: Infinity War, you can see that Thanos didn’t kill everyone. Half of Gamora’s race still exists. Did Russo Brothers miss this small details from James Gunn’s GOTG?

5 – Michelle Yeoh
Michelle Yeoh played the role of Shang-Chi’s aunt Ying Nan. But before that, she played the role of Aleta Ogord of the Ravagers in Guardians of the Galaxy 2. So, which one’s the variant? This surely is a plot hole.
