Currently, Kang is the villain of Secret Wars. However, Marvel Studios is also considering to include Doctor Doom as the main villain of Secret Wars. This is because of the question whether Jonathan Majors is a convict in an assault case or not. However, nothing is finalized yet.

Currently, Marvels Studios is considering to split Secret Wars into two parts. The major reason is because there’s too much to fit everything into one movie. This movie is supposed to
- Be a conclusion not only to the multiverse saga but to every Marvel movie ever made.
- Act as a point of soft reboot for Marvel which would enable the original six Avengers (played by different actors) and mutants into the MCU.
- Justify the end of Kang who will be the major villain
To fit all of this into one movie would be a lot of work for the writers. Marvel Studios also has to take care they don’t mess this movie as there’s going to be a lot of hype and hopes of fans from this movie. Marvel cannot mess Secret Wars like Thor: Love and Thunder.
Hence, it makes sense for this movie to be split into two parts. Avengers Secret Wars Part 1 would be the last movie of Phase 6 whereas Avengers Secret Wars Part 2 would mark the beginning of Phase 7. These two movies would release one year apart. But if Marvel takes their time and build everything properly, the wait would be justified.
This is something Marvel Studios has already followed in the past with its biggest blockbusters Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame. Infinity War was about Thanos acquiring the infinity stones and fulfilling his destiny to eliminate half of the universe. Whereas Endgame was about the original six Avengers doing their best to undo everything what Thanos did.
So, this is a formula which is tried and tested. Although not confirmed yet, Marvel is still deciding whether to split this movie or not. I want that Marvel should split this movie as it practically makes more sense.
What is the plot of Avengers: Secret Wars?
There isn’t anything official about the plot of this movie. However, as per the current MCU projects the plot of this Avengers Secret Wars revolves around the best versions of heroes fighting together against Kang to save the multiverse.
In the comics, Beyonder who is a cosmic entity creates a planet known as Battleworld where he saves the best versions of powerful heroes such as Spiderman, Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, X-Men, etc. This is the last chance for these heroes to save the multiverse. If they lose this battle, then everything is lost.
Marvel Studios will adapt this story in the MCU as well. With Loki Season 2 over and God Loki sitting outside the fabric of time and space, the new goal of the TVA is to track Kang variants. Kang variants will appear and they’ll eventually lead to a multiversal war which will be a huge thing in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
There’s a theory that Sylvie will approach the best versions of characters across the multiverse and start transporting them into Battleworld. Avengers 5 will end with Kang Dynasty winning but there should be a twist. Kang the Conqueror who was supposedly thought to have been killed returns and kills every other Kang and ends up conquering the entire multiverse.
Thus, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty ends with a cliff hanger but the great battle will be fought in Avengers: Secret Wars.
As things progress, a lot of things will become clear regarding Avengers Secret Wars. No matter how much Marvel Studios struggles, this movie will make a huge profit. Be sure not to miss this movie in theatres.
